Chapter 4: Pary, Dewayne and Cedric

It's February already, and Eros hadn't received any further calls from Auntie. Neither he ever called her again. He did try to,  two moths ago, but he couldn't find the strength to do so. What he would say to her anyway? He wasn't planning on starting a family anyway. But he knew, it was time by now. Maybe she was lying ...
Just as he was thinking that, the phone rung.
"This is Auntie, Eros. I just called to say that me and Dewayne are back from the hospital"
"Hospital??? Are you OK??And who is Dewayne?"
"Yes we are both perfectly fine. Dewayne is your SON, you moron!Remember?I just thought to let you know in case you wanted to come to see him"
"How am I supposed to know that?"
"If you had called at least once, you would know."
"I did try.."she cut him off once more
"I don't want to listen to your excuses Eros. Are you coming to see him or not?"
"Yes I will. I have a thing to do first though"
"I know what "things" you are doing Eros, and I'm not interested in the details. Just don't be late. Dewayne and I are quite tired and we would like to rest soon"
"OK, I'll be there before 9pm"
"Fine"
He closed the door behind him and walked to his car. He had promised Pary Strange he was going to show her around the base. He had now been promoted twice already and he had some access to some of the labs. Pary wasn't really interested in those stuff, but he knew she was trying to impress him.

"You are late baby" she said and flung her arms around him
"I'm sorry, I had work to do. Shall we? We can't stay long, even though I'm allowed in here, you are not, and if we get caught, we'll be both in trouble. The guard on shift is a friend of mine and he will keep his mouth closed. But the shift will change in two hours and we'll have to be outta here before that"
"OK, let's go then"
Of course ten minutes later Pary was already bored. When he showed her the shuttle however, she changed mood.
"You will travel with that one day?" She asked
"Hopefully yes"
As soon as he said that, she kissed him. He kissed her back and things started getting out of hand once more. He pulled her in the armory and locked the door. Ten minutes before shift change, someone knocked on the door.
"You gotta get outta here man, Gus will be here any minute now, and he is already late"
They got dressed fast and run out. Pary was running ahead as he was still putting his shirt on.

"Back to my place?" She asked once they got into his car.
"OK" he replied and drove away.
Just around the corner, they saw Gus driving to the base
"Ha! that was close" Eros said and they both laughed
Two hours later and they were already all over each other again, at Pary's.

"Baby , I have to go"
"Already?I thought you where staying the night"
"I can't, I have work to do, and I'm supposed to get up early in the morning"

"You work too much"
"I have to get into that shuttle someday, remember?"
"I know, baby, I know"

As he left, Pary noticed that he didn't drive towards his house, but to a completely different direction.


"You are late. I was just putting him to sleep"

"I'm sorry I had.."
"..a "thing" to do. Yes I know. Does your "thing" know about Dewayne? Or about Cedric?I bet she has no idea. Poor Pary"
"Cedric? And how the heck do you know about Pary?"
"The whole Longview knows about Pary.She seems quite exited to be dating you and gets blabby about it. Not to your liking i guess."
Eros did not like what he just heard. He wasn't actually dating Pary, they were just hanging out every now and then.
"Pary and I are not dating.Who is Cedric again?"
"YOU are not dating her, but it seems you totally forgot to let HER know, as you usually do"
"Look, I never promised anything to anyone. Not to you either"
"The problem is that you might not be promising things, but you are still not making your intentions clear"
"I'm not gonna start a debate over this. Are you avoiding my question? Who is Cedric?"
"Cedric is your other son. The one Regina gave birth to, a week ago. The baby came a bit early"
"My what?How do you know Regina?"
He was starting to feel dizzy. This couldn't be happening.
"Regina is an old friend of mine. We met in the hospital after a long time. And we had a little chat about the fathers of our children, that ended up being the same person. She left two days after i got in."
"I need to sit down"
"Good for you. Go sit in your fancy car, I need to put the baby to sleep and go to bed myself.Goodnight"


Sitting in his car, confused and angry, was trying to figure out what his life had just become. Why Regina never told him? Auntie did, with her own unique way, but she did. He had to know.

"Eros??It's almost midnight what are you doing here?"

"Why?"
"Why what?"
"You never told me about Cedric!"
"Let me put Cedric in the crib and we'll head outside"

"I see you've talked with Auntie already. We both agreed that our thing was just for a night. When I found out I was pregnant I was extremely happy, since I always wanted a child. But I swore I'll never tell you. After all you are no father material and we both know that. When I met Auntie in the hospital after all those years, we started talking. We shared our baby stories and why there was no father there to support us.Once we realised that our babies where brothers, we freaked out. Auntie and I agreed that it's better if we let you know about Cedric as well. I had no phone number of yours since you keep changing mobiles. But Auntie had found your home number, and we decided that she will tell you."
"Wait a minute here, you were talking about me behind my back?"

"That's the only thing that bothers you? Are you THAT selfish? Do you have any idea what harm you could have caused to those children? What if one of them was a girl Eros? What if I never knew Auntie? They would have never known they are siblings! They are going to go to the same school! they would have met each other eventually. And they both have your gens..What if they started dating one day?"
Eros was getting dizzy again. And angry. How could she blame him about that? She was the one that wanted to keep Cedric secret from him?And then he snapped
"Did it ever occur to you that the fact that YOU decided to hide the child from me, is the biggest mistake you could have ever done? That if your son was a girl , she would eventually end up in my bed if i never found out about her?"

"You are disgusting Eros!Thankfully it's a boy and unfortunately it's not only MY son, he is yours too! Now get off my lot and don't come back. If you want to see Cedric ever again, hire a lawyer.You can afford that."
He almost did not sleep at all that night. He kept thinking what had just happened. And whenever his eyes closed, dreadful nightmares about him sleeping with his own daughter, or his children getting married to each other woke him up at once. Next day at work was horrible as he couldn't lift his feet from the ground. Thankfully his good performance so far had gotten him in the General's good side, and since he was sure that Eros had a quite "busy" night he gave him the rest of the day off.
Once he got home he got a phone call that was the icing on the cake.
"Hello?"
"So you had work to do, right?"
"What are you talking about, Pary?"

"Can you please explain to me what "work" you had to do at Auntie Lynds' place?And then at Sim Regina's?"
"What?How the heck..?"
"I saw you driving towards the other direction Eros!I knew you were not going home!I followed you! I saw you going into Auntie's house! And then I waited and you came back out and again you didn't go home!You went to Regina's instead!I didn't want to see more, so I left after she let you in!"

"You did WHAT? You've been following me around?"
"Yes I did! You are a liar Eros! A cheater! And I don't want to see you ever again!"

"ARE YOU THAT DISTURBED???WHAT ARE YOU 15?? YOU'VE BEEN STALKING ME AND THEN YOU ARE MAKING A SCENE??? DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT I'VE BEEN THROUGH THE WHOLE NIGHT?? I DO NOT HAVE TIME FOR THIS CHILDISH STUFF! GET A LIFE!"
Pary was crying hard but still Eros hung up on her.He didn't want to deal with this now. Nor ever. He hated that kind of behaviour and that was the end of Pary for him. She was really fun to be around with, but acting like this after a couple of dates? No , he would be way better off without her.

Chapter 3: Tangie And The Baby

The next day, Eros went to the gym for his daily exercise. Tangie Simmerthree was once again there. He has been chatting with this girl for a while and he always found her there.
She was rather cute, and she definitely kept hinting that she liked having fun. This day was no different. As soon as he got in , she approached him and started flirting again. The whole time he was working out, she was working out next to him. She finally asked for help.
"Will you coach me?" she said and winked while he was helping her pick her stuff up. She had this playful look in her eyes. Surely a temptation. He had to think. He had to many flinks going on and he needed to concentrate on his job. And there were rumors about him already. He liked casual fun, but he definitely wasn't a player as they have been calling him. "Look, I'm gonna take a shower, I'll think about it OK?" Tangie kept smiling "OK, I'll be around. I'm not planning to go home yet"
He headed to the showers, thinking what he should do. As the water fell on him, many things came in to his mind.
Auntie has stopped calling. She probably realised he is not taking this any further. Regina was not even a casual thing. She was a one night's stand, and they both agreed to that. What about Duchy? Things with Duchy were not serious at all. It was just making out and nothing else. Just like Duchy , was the thing with Clay World. A few kisses and hugs the other night. Nothing more than that.

And now Tangie.. She is definitely too hot to resist. "What do I have to loose?" he thought. And she is asking for it for weeks now. "As long as it stays casual" he says to himself, and puts his clothes back on.
As he walked out of the showers he finds a surprise waiting for him. Tangie had just got out of the womens' shower and was smiling to him.
"Hey , you are still around?"
"I told you I wasn't leaving just yet" her voice was playful and soft at the same time. He knew it was time to grab the chance he was given
"I've been thinking what you said and I think I can help you a bit" He was talking about exercise, but his eyes were bright end exciting, his voice seductive, and his smile irresistible as he cornered her.

"But no commitments,OK?"
"I know" she replied "you're a guy that can't be tamed Eros. That's why I like you so much"
They headed back to the showers, and pretty soon , the sound of lust could be heard through the falling water and the raising steam

And even though they could not be seen, and walked out separately, everyone knew what had just happened between those two.

His afternoon walk in the park, was calm as usual. Until his phone rang.

"Hello?"
"You never called, Eros" Her voice was cold as ice
"Auntie??"
"Yes, it's me. Sorry to bother your "busy" life but I called to tell you something important"
"I never promised anything you know..." but she cut him off  before he could finish his sentence.

"You are WHAT?????"
"I speak Simlish Eros, not Martian. I said I'm pregnant and I'm keeping the baby"
After she hang up on his face, her words still sounded Martian to him.
He could not believe his ears. This couldn't be happening. He was not ready for something like this. He looked around him. Suddenly the whole park was filled with happy families. Or they were there all the time and he never noticed before?
To his right there was Peter Writing, happily "clawing" his older son

To his left the Rossis, with a very expecting Geminia and a Mike drooling all over her and her humongous belly

No, that wasn't something he was planning. All those people looked so happy, but so unfamiliar. He has never been played by his father like the young Writing boy. And he has never seen his father look at his mother the way the Rossis looked at each other. He does not remember his mother anyway. Happy family life is just an illusion, and they will all eventually realise. He knows already. He will never fall in that illusion, ever.
